Licensing Renewal and Continuing Education
Each license expires on January 1st, two years after being issued. Thirty hours of continuing education (CE) during the two years is required, however, the courses aren’t specified. You must take courses that align with your level of licensure. Ethics courses are encouraged, and the CE must be earned at an academic institution or another Board-approved program. Up to ten hours can be earned through distance or independent learning.
