Licensure by Endorsement
South Dakota offers licensure endorsement for those social workers licensed in another state. You may be granted a license without going through the exam or supervised experience process. Send an application and cover letter to the Board. They’ll also need a Verification of Out of State Experience Form and Verification of Licensure in Other State to confirm your credentials. You will then pay the fee associated with the level of licensure you’re applying for.
