District of Columbia Social Work License Options
License Renewal
All social work licenses in the District of Columbia expire on July 31 of every odd-numbered year. You will need to renew by completing 40 hours of continuing education during the two years preceding renewal.
The renewal fee for all types of licenses in DC is $145.
