Licensure by Reciprocity
Reciprocity is not offered in Pennsylvania for social work licensure. All candidates from other states must meet Pennsylvania’s licensure requirements and present a letter from the state they’re licensed to the Board. The letter must confirm the candidate’s license, certification, ongoing practice, and disciplinary actions. If the candidate’s ASWB exam scores are sufficient, Pennsylvania will issue the coinciding license.
