To support the education of African American students from California.
Applicant must be have resided in San Diego County for at least one year; must be graduating African-American high school seniors who will enroll full-time at an accredited four-year university in San Diego County or a historically African-American college or university in the United States in the fall; must have a cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale; must have a demonstrated financial need, and a commitment to serving their communities through extracurricular activities, work, church, or community service; must be a United States citizen or permanent resident.
