To support individuals from historically underrepresented groups in the parks as well as those that demonstrate outstanding contributions serving diverse communities with hopes of engaging their interest in future leadership roles.
Applicants must be members of NRPA from an underrepresented group in the park and recreation community and/or demonstrate outstanding contributions serving diverse communities specifically related to park and recreation programs and services.
Selection will be based on the applicant’s compliance with basic eligibility requirements set by the National Recreation and Park Association.
