To support students in the restaurant and food service industry.
Applicants must be Maryland residents; must be high school or college students, or high school or postsecondary instructors who teach culinary arts or hospitality management courses; must be enrolled in a postsecondary or professional development course; must be pursuing hospitality-related coursework in culinary arts, hospitality management or bartending academy programs.
Selection will be on a competitive basis. Preference will be given to those who possess the qualities of passion and dedication and have a strong desire to improve the foodservice industry through the personal pursuit of professionalism.
