To address the pressing need for educating and training construction managers in the residential building industry.
Applicants must be registered as full-time undergraduate or graduate students; have at least one full academic year of course work remaining after the scholarship is awarded; be majoring in construction management, mortgage finance, or a construction related field in an accredited four-year institution; and, demonstrate an interest in obtaining employment in the construction industry, mortgage finance, or a construction related field upon graduation.
Selection will be based on financial need (for educational purposes); career goals; academic achievement; employment history; extracurricular activities; recommendations; preference will be given to applicants who are legal residents of Texas or attend an academic institution in Texas.
