Applicants must be entering junior or senior students at San Diego State University or the University of California, San Diego; have declared a major in mathematics or a scientific field such as, but not limited to, biology, computer science, chemistry, technology, engineering, physics; have a minimum of 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale; have demonstrated financial need.
Selection will be given to students who are employed or have participated in extra-curricular activities or community service.
