To support licensed amateur radio operators pursuing postsecondary education.
Applicant must be an active, licensed amateur radio operator; must be a resident of the ARRL Central Division (IL, IN, WI); must be studying in agriculture, electronics, history, broadcasting, communications, or related fields at an accredited postsecondary institution.
The ARRL Foundation Scholarship Committee will review all applicants and make selections. Preference is given to residents of Illinois; reference is also given to applicants demonstrating knowledge of CW (code) and/or those demonstrating interest in promoting Amateur Radio Service.
