To help law students defray the cost of law school tuition.
Applicants for the first award must be day or evening students at the Rutgers-Camden School of Law, who are residents of South Jersey and must not be first-year students; must also demonstrate genuine financial need, scholastic ability and a history or desire to work in the areas of law enforcement and/or the administration of justice; for the second award, applicants must be students at any of the following law schools: Rutgers-Camden, Rutgers-Newark, Penn, Seton Hall, Temple, Villanova, or Widener.
