Purpose for the scholarship
At Creative Change Counseling, we believe in empowering youth via education. We are giving away five $5,000 scholarships to students entering college or a professional trade school, as well as to a current college student facing financial hardship.

Requirements to qualify?
If you’re a U.S. citizen and a resident of New Jersey or North Carolina, we invite you to apply for these scholarships. Whether you’re a high school senior preparing for college, a continuing education student, or a vocational-technical high school senior with aspirations for professional trade school, we welcome your application.

Selection criteria among applicants
Scholarship applications will be judged with a careful and thorough review process. Our evaluation criteria include an assessment of academic achievement, extracurricular involvement, community service, and the demonstration of qualities that mirror Christian Jackson’s spirit enthusiasm, resilience, and a commitment to making a positive impact. Additionally, we will consider the applicant’s ability to articulate their aspirations, goals, and how the scholarship will contribute to their educational journey. The judging panel will look for applicants who not only meet the eligibility requirements but also showcase a passion for embracing life’s challenges with a “can-do” attitude. Each application will be evaluated on its own merit, and the selection process will be both transparent and fair.
