Scholarship Mission

To identify and honor an outstanding Health Information Technology and Health Information Administration student in Texas.

Qualification Requirements

Applicants must be graduating students in the last year of a HIA or HIT program; must have an overall cumulative grade point average (GPA) minimum of 3.0. and an overall major GPA of 3.5; must be full-time students in a health information program (12-semester hours minimum); TxHIMA Active Student membership (AHIMA member designating Texas as your Component State Association); Texas residency (minimum 1 year) prior to application; U.S. citizen or permanent resident status.
