Scholarship Mission

To provide scholarships to African American students pursuing undergraduate or graduate degrees.

Qualification Requirements

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen of African American ethnicity enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited college or university; must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, indicate moral worth and intellectual promise, and demonstrate financial need.

How Winners are Selected

Preference will be given for the following: pursue studies in the social sciences pertaining to international understanding and interracial fellowship; be enrolled in an accredited college or university located in the State of Hawaii; and be a full-time student.
