To honor U.S. military veterans by providing educational opportunities for their descendants.
Applicant must be a direct descendant of a Korean War veteran or a direct descendant of a soldier who served in a foreign war and provide appropriate documentation; must be enrolled as a full-time student; must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and demonstrate financial need.
Preference given in the following order:1st: Direct descendants of Korean War veterans who died in combat; 2nd: Direct descendants of veterans who served during the Korean War. Additional preference given for direct descendants of veterans who either died or served in a foreign war, demonstration of community service, and renewal applicants.
